Knowing your personal goals and balancing your personal life is a challenge, but there is need for balance to prevent stress. There are many ways to carry out these goals for success. This paper will discuss short term and long term goals and plans to attain them and how to overcome the†¦show more content†¦Many obstacles were present and acted as a deterrent in obtaining in obtaining certain goals. Obstacles such as time constraints with work while finding time to complete assignments, getting reacquainted with writing papers in the proper formats and proper wording and regaining good study habits. The time and space between attending upper level classes was a major gap that needed to be closed and reprocessed with new habits and mind sets. Carter, C., Bishop, J., and Kravits. S.L. (2011), states some habits used for success throughout the school term are, to stay ahead of the assignment deadlines, develop good study habits and with more practice, the habits become simpler to apply no matter what the situation and eventually will become an essential part of how to operate in school, work, or personal life. A milestone for reaching a long term goal is accomplishing and completing the enrollment process for graduate school, and advancing through the first semester to pursue a Master’s degree in nursing/ Education. Writing a paper is a great weakness, especially since there have been such a huge gap in between school attendance. This weakness relates to personal communication.
